The film "Heutzutage. Zwölf Geschihten. Dodici di noi" is a journey from the Brenner Pass to Rovereto, in which different sensitivities and perceptions of reality are shown through personal accounts, experiences of living together and integration. 12 protagonists of different ages, education, nationality and culture tell about themselves and their sense of identity and belonging to a community. Among them, two teenagers from Rovereto of North African origin, a Pakistani mother who as a volunteer struggles against the loneliness and marginalisation of other women. The mayor of Fortezza, a village with 30% foreigners of 27 different nationalities, who tries to keep his community together. Two elderly South Tyrolean artists protagonists of the years of ethnic conflict.
